Certification

Submission requirements:

  • Submission of documents to be done in person at the Embassy or by courier.
  • One photocopy for each set of documents is required.
  • Submission to be within the working hours of the Consular Section:  Monday to Friday: 10:30 am to 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
  • Documents issued in Jordan must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan before submission to the Embassy for certification. Documents certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan are exempt from certification fees at the Embassy. 

  • Documents issued in Singapore to be certified by Singapore Academy of Law before submission to the Embassy.

Note:
Certification of documents by the Embassy only confirms the authenticity of the signature, seal or stamp of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan or of Singapore Academy of Law. It does not confirm the authenticity of the document or its content in any way.

Fees:

  • Commercial Documents (per stamp):  SGD 73.5
  • Personal Documents (per stamp):  SGD 17.5
  • Cash payment only (exact amount).

Note: The following certificates issued by WTO Members are exempt from certification fees: certificates of origin, commercial invoices, health certificates and packing lists.

Processing time:

  • 3-5 working day.
