The Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Republic of Singapore was officially inaugurated on 8 November 2018 by the two countries’ Foreign Ministers, His Excellency Mr. Ayman Safadi and His Excellency Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan.
Jordan had a non-resident diplomatic representation in Singapore from 1994 until April 2018, when Ambassador Mahmoud Daifallah Hmoud presented his credentials as the first resident ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Republic of Singapore.
Diplomatic relations between Jordan and Singapore were established on 28 July 1988. Since then, the two countries have enjoyed strong relations on all levels. The opening of the Embassy in Singapore purports to advance the relations even further and explore new horizons for cooperation between the two countries.
