Registration of Childbirth of Jordanian Nationals

Required documents:

  1. Completed application form (download the application form below).
  2. The birth certificate issued by the relevant Singaporean authorities*.
  3. Copy of the applicant’s valid Jordanian ID card.
  4. Copy of the parents Family Booklet.

  *The birth certificate is to be certified by Singapore Academy of Law and translated into Arabic before submission to the Embassy for certification.

Note:

  • Registration and submission of documents to be done in person by either parent of the child at the Embassy.
  • The Embassy ought to be notified by either parent of the child within 30 days from the date of birth.
  • A Jordanian birth certificate can be issued after completing the registration process through the Embassy with the Jordanian Civil Status Department.

Fees:

  • There are no fees for registering a birth incidence.
  • Issuance fee for a Jordanian birth certificate: SGD 3.50
  • Cash payment only.

Processing Time:

  • Same day.
